Nikolaos Gazis, Ph.D., P.E., S.E.
Structural Engineer
As the owner of a family business founded with his father, Dr. Nikolaos Gazis proudly continues a legacy of excellence in structural engineering. With over 15 years of comprehensive experience, Nick's expertise spans every critical phase of a project, from initial inception and intricate detailed design through to successful construction completion.
His distinguished academic background, holding both a Master's and a Ph.D., underpins his rigorous approach to complex challenges. This deep foundational knowledge is complemented by diverse industry exposure, including a significant period in the oil and gas sector. There, Nick performed advanced analysis and design of subsea structures engineered to withstand extreme environmental conditions, such as hurricane events, high seismic activity, and the demands of ultra-deepwater environments—a unique perspective that enriches his problem-solving capabilities in all ventures.
Nick's extensive portfolio encompasses a wide array of project types, including single-family and large multi-family residential developments, as well as robust commercial, industrial, and institutional structures. As a firm believer in collaborative success, he is dedicated to cultivating strong, enduring relationships with clients, ensuring a partnership approach that consistently delivers optimal, long-term solutions.

Tara Becares
DESIGNER
Tara is a multidisciplinary designer with a strong technical foundation and a growing passion for interior architecture. She began her career in 2017 as a technical designer while earning her Associate’s degree in Architectural Technology. During this time, she worked primarily on commercial and large-scale projects, gaining hands-on experience in architectural design, construction documentation, and project coordination. Her early exposure to the built environment sharpened her problem-solving skills and deepened her understanding of how design translates from concept to construction.
Driven to expand her creative scope, Tara pursued a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture at Columbia College, where she refined her eye for spatial harmony, materiality, and human-centered design. She now works as a structural designer, blending her technical expertise with a nuanced design sensibility. With a growing interest in entrepreneurship, her goal is to offer design solutions that not only meet practical needs but also elevate the everyday experience through intentional and inspired interiors.
